Brace - Alzeimers Research Facility

My Grandmother passed away from Alzeimers a few years ago which had me thinking a lot about the brain. She was an organ doner and within the catchment area of Southmead NHS so its likely she may have been one of the specimens here. I have always been intrigued as to how a this organ can be the centre of what we consider consciousness being be more complex than the best technology created to this day and what it looks like aesthetically when examined in detail.

A friend had done some video work with Brace before so I jumped at the opportunity to do some charity work to help the cause. With the NHS being so underfunded and organbisations like Brace having to create much of their own research income its definitely a worthwhile cause as they are art the forefront of research in this area.
